Después de un receso de tres semanas, regreso con una meditación profunda acerca de las maneras en que la Victoria Amazónica misma guía su evolución temática. Me sumerjo en experiencias de vida recientes que exploraré el próximo año, que constituyen una invitación fascinante a reflexionar sobre la relación entre el ser humano, la vida y la naturaleza; representadas por una figura arquetípica denominada el Hombre Verde, que de hecho, es idéntico a nuestro logo. Continuamos nuestra caminata por el Círculo Medicinal, que comienza a adoptar un tono más conceptual en sus totems, y nos encontramos con la Música, capturada en el canto de las aves, la Fluidez, representada por el Salmón y la Dulzura de la Verdad, que zumba con la energía de las abejas mieleras. ¡Disfrútalo!

VA8, Ep. 8, Music, Fluidity and the Sweetness of Truth

After a three week recess, I return with a deep meditation about the ways in which Victoria Amazonica itself guides her thematic evolution. I dive into recent life experiences that I will explore next year, a fascinating invitation to reflect upon the relationship between human, life and nature; as represented by an archetypal figure called The Green Man, which in fact, resembles our logo. We continue our walk around the Medicine Wheel, which becomes more conceptual in its totems, and encounter Music, embodied by birdsong, Fluidity as represented by Salmon and The Sweetness of Truth, buzzing with the energy of Honeybees. VA8, Ep. 7 ES En el cuadrante sureste del Círculo Medicinal, encontramos el Halcón, el Castor y el Venado

Al llegar a la mitad exacta del Aro de la Vida, podrás preguntarte: ¿Por qué elegí compartir la magia del Círculo Medicinal contigo? ¿Por qué dedicarle tiempo al aprendizaje del poder de los símbolos?

Symbols constitute the return path to our lost imagination; they compel our  unconscious to summon new energy and have life-giving and life-enhancing effects.
We visit the totems of 3 powerful creatures, rich in meaning, and I invite you to keep your eyes, your mind and your heart open to the images and symbols that might alight on your own daily experiences

VA8, Ep. 6 ES Recorramos el Exterior del Círculo, para encontrarnos con los Gansos de Nieve, Los Leones Marinos y el Puma

Comenzamos el circuito alrededor de la esquina noreste del Círculo Medicinal.
En el totem # 13 hallamos la intuición y el sentido común del Ganso Blanco de Nieve.
En el totem # 14, nos encontramos con la naturaleza juguetona y el deleite del existir en comunidad del León Marino.
En el totem # 15, descubrimos el Puma, representante de los Grandes Felinos, honrados por comunidades por todo el mundo, y aprendemos acerca de una ceremonia de restauración de la unidad compartida para honrar el Oro, la fuerza vital del Sol, un ritual diseñado y conservado por los Koguis, de la Sierra Nevada en Santa Marta, Colombia.
 

VA8, Ep. 8 Around the Outer Circle, meeting Snow Geese, Otter and Puma

We start the circuit around the northeastern corner of the Medicine Wheel.
At totem # 13 we meet the Intuition and sense of Snow Geese.
At totem # 14, we encounter the playfulness and delight of community as expresssed by Otter.
At totem # 15, we encounter Puma, representative of the Great Cats honored by communities all around the world, and we learn about a ceremony of atonement and unity held to honor Gold, the life force of the sun, a ritual designed and conserved by the Koguis, of the Sierra Nevada in Santa Marta, Colombia.

VA8, Ep. 5 ES Visitamos a las Cuatro Hermanas, siguiendo al Aguila, el Lobo y el Imponente Oso

Inspirada por mi experiencia reciente al asistir al Festival Folclórico del Museo Smithsonian del Indígena Americano, que honraba precisamente, las Voces Indígenas de América, un evento en el cual éramos todos los invitados a participar, aprender y a comportarnos como descendientes legítimos de todos aquellos que habitaron sobre estas tierras siglos antes que nosotros existiéramos, continuamos nuestra jornada alrededor del Círculo Medicinal. Hoy, visitamos el Totem del Este, sostenido por el águila, con sus chillidos de alerta y su visión panorámica. Luego continuamos al Sur, donde nos llaman los aullidos del lobo, animal altamente inteligente e intuitivo, y exploramos su mitología. Completamos el círculo de la vida al llegar al Oeste, donde nos encontramos con el Oso, un ícono arcaico de la fuerza bruta y de los instintos de supervivencia indomables. VA8, Ep. 5 Visiting the Four Sisters by following Buffalo, Eagle, Wolf and Bear

Inspired by my recent experience at the Smithsonian Museum's Folklife Festival, which was honoring the Indigenous Voices of the Americas,an event at which all of us were invited to participate, learn and act as rightful descendants of all of those who lived on these lands centuries before us, we continue our journey around the Medicine Wheel. Today, we visit the East totem, Eagle, led by her screeching calls and her panoramic vision. Then we are called to the South by the howls of the inspiring and highly intelligent wolf, and explore their mythology. And we complete the circle of life by arriving at the West, where we find the Bear, an archaic icon of brutal force and persistent survival instincts. Come learn about these totems and follow us as we continue to discover the magic of the Medicine Wheel.
