VA1, Ep. 13 ES La Vida, tan Salvaje como un Río

 
En este episodio recuerdo cuánto disfrutaba mirar las gotas de lluvia que caían sobre el río, las que eventualmente se convertirían en aguas que inundaban todo, tan similar a la vida, que puede ser tan salvaje como el río. Después recibimos una visita inesperada en Tarapacá, quien llegó a recordarnos que ambos estábamos realizando labores llenas de amor. Concluímos con una celebración de la vida y sus muchos dones, en la fiesta sorpresa de mi cumpleaños número 21, en el corazón de la Selva Esmeralda.

VA1, Ep.13 Life, as Wild as a River

I remember the feeling of watching raindrops fall on the river, which eventually would become flooding waters, as a meditation on the upredictability of life. Then we welcome an unexpected visitor in Tarapacá who reminded us that we were both carrying out labors of love. We end up celebrating life and its gifts at my 21st surprise birthday party, deep in the heart of the Emerald Forest.

VA1, Ep.12 ES En los Brazos de la Amazonía Nocturna

Varias voces jóvenes me preguntan por qué vale la pena contar historias, y cómo ellas tienen el poder de cambiar el mundo. Comenzamos la narrativa con la historia del secuestro de un pato y su rescate. Vivimos la jornada de votación en Tarapacá, participamos en los Domingos de Deporte y comparto mi manera predilecta de experimentar la Selva, escuchando su concierto nocturno y en los brazos de la Amazonía nocturna, en la que todo tipo de milagros se desenvolvía en la oscuridad. 

VA1, Ep.12 Cradled and Serenaded by the Arms of the Nocturnal Rainforest

Young voices prompt me to assert why I believe stories can, in fact, change the world. We begin with the silly story of the Ducknapping and the subsequent rescue. I get to witness voting unfold in Tarapacá, participate in fun and movement filled Sundays and share my favorite way to experience the Rainforest, listening to its nocturnal concert and cradled by the awareness of the many simultaneous miracles unfolding around me in the darkness.

VA1, Ep. 11 ES El Lago de la Abundancia y la Pesca Milagrosa

Comenzamos nuestra aventura recalibrando nuestra energía mental con abundancia y seguridad en el Lago de la Abundancia y una vez allí, regresamos a Tarapacá. Llegará a mi vida un estudiante inolvidable, iremos al festival del Día del Campesino que convocaba al agricultor y los artistas en Tarapacá. Nos iremos de pesca con nuevos amigos y aprenderemos sobre algunos de los peces milagrosos que abundan en el Amazonas. 

VA1, Ep. 11 The Lake of Abundance and the Miracle Haul

We start off by resetting our mindsets to abundance and safety at the Lake of Abundance and then return to Tarapacá. I will find an unforgettable student, we will attend the Festival that celebrates Farmers and Artists in Tarapacá. We also go fishing with new friends and get to know some of the miraculous fish that abound in the Amazon. 

VA1, Ep. 10 ES Los Vikingos en busca de Azúcar y la Victoria Amazonica como Símbolo de Interdependencia

Comenzamos el Episodio 10 con un poema, La Fuente de todos los Deseos, inspirado por una cascada que hallé en la densidad de la Amazonía y me recordó que todos somos Uno. Luego tenemos nuestro encuentro con los Vikingos en busca de azúcar, los niños que nos recibían desesperados por obtener golosinas, y aprendemos sobres los menú en la selva y los animales que pensaban que nosotros éramos el menú. Nos sentaremos al lado del fuego, a recordar que la Victoria Amazónica es un símbolo de comunidad que vence la adversidad al adaptarse y colaborar. 

VA1, Ep. 10 Candy Crazed Vikings and Victoria Amazonica as a Symbol of Interdependence

Welcome! We start the episode with a Poem, The Fountain of All Wishes, inspired by a waterfall I sat by, deep inside the Rainforest, which reminded me that we are all One. Then we meet the candy-crazed vikings; children who welcomed us, desperate for treats, and go on to learn about the food and the many creatures that considered us food in the Amazon. Then we sit by the fire, to continue listening to stories about the many ways in which the Emerald Forest was like the Victoria Amazonica plant, a community that was strenghthened by adversity and which, like its people, thrived by adapting and collaborating as one organism.
