VA5., Ep.4 Initiatory Visions in Daily Life

This episode begins with the awe that a precious newborn human inspires. Then, I wonder where and how well our mothers, babies and girls througout the world are doing, and I also ask, where are the voices reminding us of their value, where are the lovers of life proclaiming its power to regenerate? 

I share the origin story of baby Victoria Amazonica and detail some of  the rituals of initiation of boys and girls in the Amazon. Celebrations of threshold crossings continue to occur globally, and we seem, collectively, to be living an initiatory process. I share a story that served me as a vision of transformation as a child, and I pose the possibility of each one of us to find images and  storiesvisions that may serve as initiatory visions in daily life.
