I honor Mother Earth as represented by Tonantzin, a pre-Aztec deity whose temple was located where Our Lady of Guadalupe’s temple is currently located. And after honoring The Mother, I share words and art created by children. They are anguished and wise, and they propose urgent changes as they envision what our environment will be like in 25 years. I saw these masterpieces at the Chinese American Museum in Washington, DC. Then, we begin our trip down the Amazon River into Amazonia, led by the discoverer of the birthplace of the RioMar, Loren McIntyre himself, as we together, navigate his masterpiece, Amazonia. Let’s get lost in the Emerald Forest, again. I finish with a newsreport that celebrates another Victoria Amazonica; MuCA, built in what was once one of Henry Ford’s failed attempts to subdue the Amazon.
